Your day, one glance away
Nowline for Mac, Windows and Linux keeps what’s now in your menu bar, and adds anything to today from wherever you are.
What the app adds
The example day from the home page, on your clock.
- What’s now, in the menu bar
- The block you’re in and the time it has left, or what comes next. Once the day is done, it goes quiet. You can hide the words and keep just the icon.
- Add from anywhere
- Control-Option-N on a Mac, or Alt+Shift+N on Windows and Linux, brings Nowline forward with the cursor in Today’s quick add.
- Always the newest Nowline
- The app shows nowline.co, so improvements reach it as soon as they ship. When the app itself has a new version, it asks before installing it.
- There when you start your computer
- Turn on Open at login and Nowline waits in the menu bar from the moment you sign in. It’s off unless you choose it.
Download
Free while Nowline is in beta. You’ll need an invite to sign in.

Opening it the first time
The beta isn’t signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so your computer checks with you before opening it.
- Mac: open Nowline once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
- Windows: when SmartScreen says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.
