Privacy notice
Last updated 8 October 2026 (the app for invited testers)
Who we are
Nowline is run by AKES Solutions Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17091947), Unit 501 Leroy House, 434–436 Essex Road, London N1 3FY, United Kingdom. We decide how the data described here is used. You can reach us at hello@nowline.co.
What we collect
From the waitlist form:
- your email address
- which of the two forms on the page you used
- when you joined
If you have been invited and use the app, also:
- your account’s email address
- your time zone, taken from your device, so “today” means your today
- what you plan: titles, days, times, and whether you finished something or let it go
- a record of sign-ins (time, IP address and browser), kept by our login provider for security
- if you turn on the evening reminder, the time you chose and the last day it was sent
Signed in, the app uses cookies only to keep you signed in. The site runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Why, and on what basis
Waitlist: to invite you to the beta, based on your consent, which you give by joining and can withdraw at any time by writing to us. App: to provide Nowline to you, which is necessary for the service you asked for.
Who else handles it
Three service providers process it for us, under contract and only on our instructions:
- Vercel, which hosts the site and the app
- Supabase, which stores your data and runs sign-in, in its London data centre
- Resend, which delivers the sign-in codes and, if you turn it on, the evening reminder
All three are US companies. Where your data is handled outside the UK, they use the safeguards UK data protection law requires for that. We don’t sell your data or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Waitlist: until we’ve sent you the beta invitation, and no more than three months after that. App: until you delete your account. Settings → Delete your account removes it and everything in it straight away.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. In the app, Settings lets you download everything you’ve planned and delete your account yourself. For anything else, write to hello@nowline.co. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or, in the EU, to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
When Nowline starts to collect anything new, this notice will say what and why before that happens.
