Who we are
Nowline is provided by AKES Solutions Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17091947), Unit 501 Leroy House, 434–436 Essex Road, London N1 3FY, United Kingdom. In these terms, “we” means AKES Solutions Limited and “you” means the person using Nowline. Questions go to hello@nowline.co.
The beta
Nowline is in an invite-only beta. It is free while the beta lasts. Features will change, some things may not work as they should, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We’ll do our best to keep your plans safe, and we’ll tell you before we change anything important.
Your account
- Your account is for you alone. Sign in with an email address only you can read.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.
- You must be at least 16 to use Nowline.
What you write is yours
Everything you plan in Nowline stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Nowline for you. You can download all of it, or delete your account and everything in it, from Settings at any time. How we handle your data is set out in the privacy notice.
Using Nowline fairly
Please don’t:
- use Nowline for anything unlawful
- try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, or test our security without asking us first
- overload the service, or scrape it with automated tools
- copy, resell or build a competing product from Nowline’s software or design
If an account breaks these rules, we may suspend or close it. Where it’s fair to, we’ll tell you first.
Paying
Nothing costs money during the beta. When Nowline introduces a paid plan, we’ll tell you the price and what it includes beforehand. Nothing will be charged without your agreement, and the everyday loop will stay free.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Nowline, with no obligation to you. We’re grateful for every one.
Ending
You can stop using Nowline and delete your account whenever you like. We may end the beta or close Nowline. If we do, we’ll give you reasonable notice and time to download your data.
Our responsibility
We provide the beta “as is” and can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for losses to a business. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Your rights as a consumer are not affected.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law and can also use your local courts.
